Volume 7
In the first
half of this series, (volumes one through six ) I have explained and
illustrated many different techniques. Now you will learn how to put these
techniques to work for you. There are hundreds of ways to use beads to your
advantage. In the single capacity of jewelry, there are untold numbers of
thousands of dollars earned. Beadwork is not a passing fad. It has remained
through centuries and is still growing in popularity. With such a solid
repertoire to build your hobby or craft business on, the chances of loosing
are minimized. If you could design the ultimate beading pattern, what
techniques would you use? To help inspire your imagination we have exposed a
series of patterns in each volume with suggestions on arranging colors to
spark ideas for creating masterpieces. You can be successful from the moment
you decide to take up beading.
More like colorful
sound waves for patterns. It seems the technology of automation overtakes everything as time passes. More and more
people are trying to hold on to tradition. One of the few crafts that remains pretty much the same is beadwork.
Nothing compares to the art of hand crafted beadwork.
Tradition still controls technique,
but design warrants change in some upbeat styles of the nineties and into
the twenty-first century. There seems to be a demand for bought splashed of
color in contemporary flowing designs with not a lot of exact detail on
shapes.
